Reinstating your parking

If you canceled your parking permit due to your COVID-19 working situation (or for any other reason) and would now like to reinstate your permit, contact the WUSM Transportation and Parking Office at medparking@wustl.edu.

If you did not cancel your parking permit, then no action is required. Your permit is still active!

Open-lot parking

Our open parking lots are over-subscribed by non-permit holders, and as a result, free open lot parking will expire on May 1, 2020. Open lot parking will be restricted to permit holders beginning May 4, 2020. Non-permit holders will receive tickets if parked on a lot without a hang tag beginning May 4, 2020.

Discounted parking in Clayton Taylor Garage

From May 4, 2020 until July 31, 2020, we will continue to offer discounted parking to WUSM employees (non-permit holders) for $4 per day in the Clayton Taylor Garage. We will have validations available at the Facilities Integrated Service Center (FISC) desk (Olin Residence Hall 1st floor lobby).

The FISC is open Monday to Friday from 7 am – 7 pm. Parkers will need to show a valid employee ID to receive the $4 rate. All validations will expire on July 31, 2020, when employee daily parking will return to a discounted rate of $5 per day on Aug. 1, 2020. We will begin posting signs of this pending change this week.

Second- and third-shift workers: As a reminder, if you are currently working second or third shift, you may park in the Clayton Taylor Garage for free from 2 p.m. to 6 a.m. and free all day for staff working on weekends and holidays. Please use your badge to swipe in and out of the garage (no special access is required).

Contractor and visitor parking

Contractors and visitors may park in the Clayton Taylor Garage for $15 per day.

Duncan Central Garage availability

We have acquired additional parking spaces in the Duncan Central Garage and, as of May 1, 2020, will be opening the garage to permit holders on the wait-list. If you are interested in relocating your parking to this location, please contact the WUSM Transportation and Parking Office at medparking@wustl.edu.

Social distancing on shuttles

Also, to help adhere to social distancing guidelines, we have directed campus shuttle buses to carry a maximum of 10 people. Managers are asked to take this into consideration so that employees are not penalized for being late because of this transportation limitation.
